In the wake of the horrific terrorist attack on the United States, patriotism in America has exploded. Strangely, this incomparable act of violence has brought our nation together, but the unity we feel hasn't stopped at U.S. soil.

This first Web site shows picture after picture of people from around the world offering condolences to the United States of America. Though it takes a while for all of the pictures to load, please take the time to do so. You'll see pictures of Israelis outside the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv creating posters to commemorate our loss; people lighting candles for the U.S. in Wolfsburg, Germany; a picture of Yasser Arafat donating blood for the U.S.; and on and on. Who is Osama bin Laden? Bin Laden is a billionaire who has been on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitive List since 1999, with a hefty $5 million reward being offered for his arrest. CNN.com has written an excellent profile about this terrorist, who is, at the time of this writing, the prime suspect in the terrorist attack on the United States. http://www.cnn.com/2001/US/09/12/binladen.profile/index.html

PBS Online has a page that's devoted to the World Trade Center, considered one of the "Wonders of the World." Did you know that each of its magnificent towers had 104 passenger elevators and 21,800 windows?
